TetherMonkey is a new application designed for remote controlling and triggering compatible Canon or Nikon DSLR cameras using a tethered USB OTG (USB HOST) cable through your mobile device. The app allows users to access live view, adjust settings such as shutter speed, aperture, ISO, and more. If remote controlling camera settings over USB is a possibility, it can be achieved with TetherMonkey. The application effectively transforms your phone or tablet into a DSLR controller offering various unique features, such as:

• Remote Control: Manage your compatible DSLR camera via a tethered USB connection.
• Shutter Release: Adjust essential settings like Shutter Speed, Aperture, ISO, White Balance, Picture Styles, Metering Modes; control focus precisely, and more.
• Live View: View your camera's feed live on your connected phone or tablet for detailed adjustments.
• Time Lapse: Simplify time lapse photography by setting custom intervals and durations with automatic firing capabilities.
• Burst Shooting: Specify the number of shots to capture in quick succession.
• Live Histogram: Observe an updating histogram in real-time.
• Movie Recording: Record videos (Canon cameras only at present). Support for Nikon cameras coming soon.
• Bulb Shooting: Capture long exposures with Bulb mode (specific Canon and Nikon models applicable).
• Script Builder: Craft custom scripts to automate camera controls in the Pro version and export them in .json format.
• Focus Stacking Assist: Utilize the unique tool for automatically capturing focus-varied images suitable for stacking in post-processing.
• Photography Calculators: Access 11 calculators including exposure, hyperfocal, depth of field, flash range, and more.
• Bubble Level: Utilize your mobile device as a live, accurate level for precision shooting.
